our story

Casa Sur was built on years of hard work, patience, and a deep love for food.

We are a father and son team, shaped by decades of experience in the restaurant industry. My dad spent over 20 years working as an executive chef, while our family worked behind the scenes helping bring other kitchens to life. Over time, that experience turned into a shared goal to create something of our own.

Along the way, our paths looked different. One of us stayed in the restaurant world, continuing to grow in it. The other took a different direction and worked in the medical field, trying to build something more stable, but it never felt like the right fit. It became clear that building something together, something rooted in passion and purpose, was always the goal.

The road here was not always straightforward. There were moments where doors closed and plans did not work out the way we hoped. But those experiences only pushed us to keep going, stay focused, and build something that is truly ours.

What started as a conversation turned into a commitment to bring that vision to life.

Casa Sur is where those paths come together. It is a place to share the flavors we grew up with, the traditions we carry, and the experience we have built over time.

Every detail reflects that journey. We set out to create a space that feels warm, intentional, and welcoming. A place where people can slow down, enjoy a great meal, and feel taken care of.
